Read the label.
Know what it says.

Point your camera at the ingredients list. Says Here reads what is printed on the package — in any language — checks it against your allergens, and tells you exactly which lines it could not read.

How it works

No barcode, no product database. If you can photograph the label, it can read it.

1

Pick what you avoid

Choose from the 14 major allergens, mark each one severe or mild, and add your own terms — senna, carmine, anything. Your list stays on your phone and in your own account.

2

Photograph the ingredients

Fill the frame with the ingredients list. Says Here transcribes what is printed — German, Turkish, French, a ten-language EU label, all of it — and separates "contains" from "may contain".

3

See what matched — and what didn't read

Every ingredient that matches your list, including hidden names like whey, casein or Molke. And every line that was blurred, folded or cut off, so you know where to look yourself.

It never says a product is safe. When nothing from your list appears, it says exactly that: nothing from your list appears on this label. Recipes change, print gets damaged, reading can fail. Says Here is a reading aid, not a safety check — always read the package yourself and, when in doubt, don't eat it.

Features

📷

Reads any printed label

Works on the package in front of you, whatever the brand, country or language. Tiny print, curved jars, multilingual EU labels.

🧾

Hidden names

Milk isn't always "milk": whey, casein, lactosérum, Magermilchpulver, süt tozu. Says Here knows the derivatives in 12 languages and shows you the original word from the label.

⚠️

"Contains" vs "may contain"

Ingredients and trace warnings are kept strictly apart. Set how strict you want to be — allergens you mark severe always get the strict treatment.

🔍

Tells you what it couldn't read

Glare, folds, cropped edges: every unreadable line is listed with what usually sits there, instead of a false all-clear.

🌍

The text, in your language

Open the full ingredients list it read, translated for you — with the original one tap away so you can compare against the package.

🪪

Allergy card

"I have a severe allergy to…" in 12 languages, built from your profile. Show it to a waiter, save it to your photos. Free, offline, always.

🧠

Two layers, not one

An AI model reads and matches; a built-in dictionary independently double-checks it. When they disagree, the stricter answer wins and you see why.

📓

History

Every scan is saved with its full result. Opening one again costs nothing and doesn't re-read the photo.

🔒

No sign-up

Open the app and scan. Add an email only if you want your purchased scans to follow you to a new phone.

Privacy, by design.

Photos are not kept

A label photo is sent to our server to be read and deleted as soon as the result is back. Location and camera metadata are stripped on your phone before upload.

Your allergens are health data

We treat them that way: collected only with your explicit consent, stored in your own account in the EU, used for nothing but checking labels. No ads, no tracking, no data sales.

Take it or delete it

Settings → Export my data gives you everything as a file. Settings → Delete my account and data removes it all, immediately. Read the Privacy Policy.
